Music

Music is the heart of our worship at Chapel Hills.
Building on a decades-long choral tradition, we strive for a musical experience that fosters and supports the larger worship service.
From prelude to postlude, our music seeks to transcend day to day living,  and bring us into the presence of God. We sing a broad range of musical styles, from the classic choral tradition to works of masters like Mendelssohn and Handel. We study and perform African American spirituals and choral arrangements arising from the Lutheran College choral tradition, such as works of Leland Sateren and F. Melius Christiansen. We are always open to new choir members and welcome you regardless of skill level or experience. We rehearse twice a week, Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
